Anderson Oil Ltd. contracted with Sigor Corporation to run the
SWTorpedo Standard Service on our Asher #8 gas well in Bell County, Kentucky on July 18, 2003.
The zone we had treated was the Mississippian Big Lime limestone at a depth of 3344' to 3376'.
The well had an open flow to the surface of 12 MCFPD and a shut-in pressure of 500 psi with a slight casing
leak prior to this service being performed.
The formation was treated open hole with a bridge plug set approximately 50' below the porosity
in the Big Lime. KCL water was poured into the well to approximately 400' above the pay.
Upon detonation of the device, the bridge plug released itself, and the 400' of KCL water dropped below the pay zone.
After allowing the well to flow gas for several hours, it was determined that the gas flow had stabilized, and a new
open flow was measured. The final open flow was 39 MCFPD, a three fold increase. After several days the shut-in
pressure of the well reached 750 psi.
